Mark founded AS + P as Asher Associates Architects in 1993, pursuing his passion for bringing the character and beauty of historic coastal architecture to new custom residential homes. Along with a talented team, Mark has grown the Asher portfolio to include hundreds of homes gracing exclusive New Jersey coastal towns, the Philadelphia suburbs and beyond. As a Board member of the AIA’s Custom Residential Architects Network, Mark facilitates the exchange of knowledge and expertise to promote the professional development of residential architects across the country.

Deborah joined AS + P in 2008 after working in residential design and historic preservation throughout eastern United States. Though classically trained, she enjoys working in a variety of styles and her design aesthetic helped broaden the firm’s vocabulary to include more contemporary elements. In 2018 she was promoted to Partner and has since deftly balanced a demanding project workload with staff and studio management duties. In addition to her role within the firm, Deborah contributes to the local design community as the Vice President of the Philadelphia Chapter of ICAA.

Laura joined AS + P in late 2010 after years of experience in both urban and suburban residential projects. Laura’s design talent and passion are evident in everything she does. She focuses her keen eye for detail not only producing stunning projects for delighted clients but also on constant improvements in the studio’s design and production standards. She joined Deborah and Mark as Partner in 2022, taking on the role of creative director and design mentor, while continuing to manage projects and taking a leadership role in the firm’s marketing efforts.

Jeanine joined AS + P in 2022, bringing extensive experience in financial leadership, operations, and human resources. With a career spanning both the public and private sectors, she has served as a Controller/CFO and HR Director, overseeing everything from financial planning and budgeting to payroll, benefits administration, and talent acquisition. In 2025 she was promoted to Partner and continues to play a key role in strengthening the firm’s internal systems, policies, and long-term operational strategy.
